The founder of the institute is Dr. Arnold Kitzmann. He studied psychology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and subsequently earned his doctorate in Ulm. He finally completed his training as a psychotherapist in Münster, where he founded the Management Institute Dr. A. Kitzmann in 1975.
After studying business administration at the European Business School (ebs) in Oestrich-Winkel, Université Lille and San Francisco State University, she completed her doctorate at ebs. She then worked at the Investment Bank Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions department in Frankfurt and in London until 2007. Since then, she has been active in the Management Institute Dr. A. Kitzmann as a managing partner in the second family generation.
Ms. Bock has many years of experience with a large German aviation company, where she has worked with a focus on finance and controlling. Since 2020, Ms. Bock has been working for the Management-Institut Dr. A. Kitzmann, and in 2023 she took up the position as Managing Director for the Hamburg site. By her extensive expertise and profound experience in the field of continuing education, she brings valuable competencies to our organization.
Mr. Beckmann studied economics with a focus on personnel and organizational development at HSBI in Bielefeld. He began his professional career at a training institute in Bielefeld, where he gained extensive experience over ten years as a consultant for in-house events and was responsible for the development and expansion of quality management. In the last seven years, he has managed numerous projects in a foundation association in Bielefeld as a management consultant and gained valuable insights into practical organizational development. During this time, personnel development remained a significant focus of his activities. Among other things, he was responsible for the design of a management program and drove forward the development of educational opportunities for people with disabilities. Mr. Beckmann now brings this diverse experience to the Management Institute Dr. A. Kitzmann in order to optimally support the institute's clients in their personnel development measures together with his team at the Münster location. Mr. Beckmann is married, father of three children and lives in Bielefeld.
In the beginning, there was the idea of enabling people to develop throughout their lives. In 1975, the psychologist Dr. Arnold Kitzmann founded the renowned Management Institute Dr. A. Kitzmann in Münster. He began with three self-conceived training topics, which were taught in individual coaching sessions. Over the years, this developed into a company whose core business is the further training of specialists and executives.
In-house training courses are held throughout the DACH and Benelux regions and on the Internet as in-house online seminars. These are tailored courses for individual companies. In addition, courses are now held in open form at 16 locations - including cities such as Amsterdam, Brussels, Vienna, Zurich, Warsaw. These courses can also be booked as online seminars.
Growing together is our motto. Together with our customers, but also with the new challenges. Like digital learning, flexible forms of work, modern business models. Many of our publications deal with these topics - which in turn gave rise to new seminar content. Since 2011, the open seminar business has been expanded more and more. Seven years later, in 2018, we succeeded in transferring our concept to other countries as well.
The Management-Institut Dr. A. Kitzmann from Münster is a further education institution that primarily addresses specialists and executives from business and administration. For more than 45 years we have been accompanying and supporting specialists and executives in their further development.
More than 5,000 participants are trained annually in our open and in-house seminars nationwide. Participant-activating methods are predominantly used to achieve a high learning efficiency. Special emphasis is placed on practical implementation. The range of events covers the most important key qualifications for specialists and managers.
